The four distinct components that make up the sleeve anchor are the breakup sleeve, a threaded stud bolt or body, a nut, and a washer. The sleeve anchor is featured with a hex nut head.

By expanding, the sleeve anchors embed themselves into masonry substrates like concrete, hollow or solid block, hollow or solid slabs, or other materials. They are used to anchor various types of construction fixtures like steel or timber. The anchor is placed into a hole that has already been pre-drilled, and as the head is spun, the anchor’s end expands and secures itself.
